Ha, I'm just not as cultured as you are.

Started with the spring rolls, tongue and ribs followed by the cowboy. In hindsight, I shouldn't have gotten it, it wasn't any better than what I make on the grill.

No problems whatsoever with the waitress

Regarding the other diners I'll give myself a 7/10. the woman seated to my left was ~~trouble~~ a problem for me but I think I did pretty well. Tried my best to focus on my wife, the conversation and the food, and didn't think about it afterwards.

Truth of the matter is, it's really the restaurants fault. if their steak had been as good as I had imagined it would be, I wouldn't have noticed anything else. So I think they get the 7/10 and I get a perfect 10!
