Yes indeed. There's a lot to learn from this.
I also want to point out that the first post in this thread had almost 20 thank yous. It was so difficult for me to write it as I felt it will pull me down in the eyes of the fellow members here, but the opposite was true... 
The lesson for myself is: be yourself, be vulnerable, be honest & be transparent. 
That's what Hashem wants and that's what people want as well...
