Hello all my GYE friends.  I have not been on the website for awhile now. Still clean and sober and frankly doing well.  However, I have a little life crisis and figured why not write it out here.  Still woking for myself in the businesses I have created.  Business is so so and last week, a customer of mine offered me a position to work for him or kind of technically with him.  I can keep everything I am doing now at the same time.  i have another meeting regarding this in a short while and can't seem to think clearly.  I know I will eventually have to find more business for my business, that in this economy is hard to do.  I also know if I make a choice to move to a new venture I make a smart move, and not one of stupidity. 

I have had a propensity in past to jump into something and not think it out.  Maybe my clear head has me overthinking??  Can't figure out if I am thinking to much or not enough!

May Hashem give you guidance and strength to continue to stay clrean and sober, and inspire you to make appropriate and mature choices. The choices and the "hishtadlus" is up o us - whether we wil 'succeed" or not is up to Him.

I'm really proud of you. Jealous actually. I slipped almost 90 days into my time here and then I fell. I let the depression set in and then my life went into a tizzy for roughly 12-16 months. New job, new city, same family, b"H.

I was speaking with a true Gadol b'Torah tonight. We were discussing issues like homosexuality and molestation; issues apropos to my work. He could tell something was bothering me and looked right at me and told me the following. When we have a nisayon, our "life's mission" is to overcome that nisayon.

This conversation was appropriately timed as just recently Dov reached out to see how I was doing and provide chizuk and a shoulder. Greatness is caring for your fellow man; that means Dov is great.

I love you Sci. I hope to follow in your example.
