UPDATE: I don't think I will be taking off glasses. It will only intensify the white-knuckling (almost like having a filter that could be broken)

Without the 'white knuckling' first week when I basically kept my glasses off to an extreme (BH wasn't hit by car), I just don't think I would have been able to snap out of the second/ third looks game, and by extension, have come clean in general. Wait, now that I wrote that, I'm actually sure. הודו לשם כי טוב כי לעולם חסדו!

Have a wonderful trip, Pidaini. My guess is you're such a masmid, that you even show up bein hazmanim (to gye).
So c u around!

i'm kinda stuck
i'm really thinking about too much thinking...and don't think i know how to stop thinking about thinking, i think it doesn't bother me to think (it kinda free, you know),but i think that if someone else thinks different, that is also a reason to think, so what do you think?

This post is just because yankel likes his thread to stay on the front page
We wouldn't want him to get sad right after landing and being through all that he hopefully was successful going through.

Thanks everyone!!

I must admit, I am completely shocked!! Mostly at my genius....

The trip was a completely different trip!! There were times during the trip that I asked myself "what's wrong? Why am I not feeling tense, uptight about making sure not to see anything wrong?! I must be doing something wrong!!"

It was so liberating to know that A) travelling isn't really as hard as I had experienced it to be (it's just my own perception of what's going on in my head, which leads to) B ) I don't have to lust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't been in touch much with Hashem though, going to change that right now, I have so much to thank Him for!!

Another flight coming up on Sunday, it's longer, but if it worked, it worked and can work again!!

Thank you again everybody!!

P.S. Cordnoy, I did a shvacha job using the "watching license". I thin kit was only an hour or so.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttt???????!!!!!! Not in touch with Hashem???????
You must truly be a genious, Yankel - An absent minded genious!!
You have been in Touch With Hashem BIG TIME!!
All that insight and realization and learning those lessons, even the "shock" which you started with...
There is NO WAY that someone who is not in touch with Hashem can experience those feelings and insights.

Your whole trip was one big שויתי ה' לנגדי תמיד (sound familiar??) experience!

יהי רצון that Hashem should continue to give you tremendous סייעתא דשמיא to constantly stay in touch with Him.

You guys remind me of the person who met someone and wanted to be able to contact him again:

> Can you please give me your phone number?

> It's listed in the public phonebook.

> But what's your name?

> It's also listed in the phonebook, right before my phone number!

I would agree that the anonymity is overplayed around here.

Pedaini, we want your full name and all your phone numbers, wherever you may be on your vacation.

Come on, we need you!
