i have boruch hashem been on the chart for quite sometime with out masturbating, looking at pornography etc.... there have been times where i have slipped but not fallen i think i am ready to move to the next step of blocking some sites that are interesting but have questionable or more than questionable topics (i avoid them and are mostly able to navigate around them news sites or blogs) iy"h with everyones help i will be matzliach!

Yes, making gedarim is VERY important. The seforim even say that our main bechirah in this area is making the proper gedarim. Once lust hits, it's VERY hard to overcome. A smart person avoids it in the first place.
