Shabbos was pretty good. I have a problem, I actually posted about it a couple of times, but never actively did anything about it-- I don't have a problem with "Shemiras Einayim". I have a problem with shemiras einayim.
In explanation: "Shemiras Einayim" is not a problem for me, I can avoid looking at immodestly dressed women [and even "immodest" according to my standards and opinions], and for the most part even carry on decent conversations with them most of the time [except if I'm looking for pictures of them, or if they're exceptionally "hot"]. But when it comes to women and girls that are "my" type, I can't keep from looking at them, and I tell myself that there's nothing "wrong", after all, they're tzniusdig [even according to my (kind of high) standards]...
I'm posting this, just to affirm that this is indeed a problem and I have to work on it.

I DO have a DESIRE to look at ALL women, but with non-tznius, I can manage it, with others, it's much harder-- like Bardichev said in the Baryoureyes chizuk email [thanks, Mr. TOGBRP for the link] that looking at women wearing nice clothes on shabbos is a mitzva [sic] I somehow think that looking at women dressed tzniusly is a mitzva.

me too, me too.  me thinks it be the work of the yh.  "Go ahead look, there is not going to be anything untziusdik to see, no harm will be done, no aveirah"  BS!  For me it opens up the fantasy world and i have the power to create anything i want over there and any situation.  NOT good in any way for me.  On the streets, they can be dressed like Adam & Chava and i have little taiva to look, because i really really don't want to.  But, a frum lady or girl fit for Meah She'arim and "Kady bar the doors" it is like a team of horses pulling my eyes in their direction.  What to do?  i daven, open a sefer, sometimes i even run away, literally, because i am an addict and i can not control my lusting.
Hope you, me and everyone here finds the help we need to live life to its fullest.

I'm checking in on your thread - first to admit my lameness about technology - i had been reading your posts by clicking on your name, and only now just found the home of your thread.  so just read your whole history from YK through most recent post.  First of all - you and your core crew are rather clever!  I broke out into a smile many times.  I wish I had such wit.  I'm more meat and potatoes and woodford.  i didn't realize your were amerikaner.  the rebbe's tish sounds kind of fun.

A few quick comments. Take them with love from a desperate newbie.  Where is your super strong filter - how can you get to porn? sounds like step 1, 2, and 3 are perfect places to spend more time and really get them to sink in (me too!).  More fences?- like is the 11pm thing being always implemented?    bring in more of us - calling, web chaver, etc.  My gut feeling from your posting is that you want to go for recovery, but something is holding you back from full out throwing yourself into recovery as your most important #1 daily item, all day long.  if I'm off or out of bounds, I'm sorry, that's just a feeling  i get from the full thread read.
