For all my fans out there, and those who merely want to see if i look as crazy as I sound. I will be hosting the next GYE convention/kumzits in my (not anonymous) home. Other members should also be present.

The one practical thing that I have gained from the recent GYE kumzits is to start reading the Handbook. What do I see in Tool 2? The 3 Second Rule. What a great reminder. At work there are really only one or two triggery women on Sunday, so I can start the 3 Second Rule on them tomorrow before they all come back in force on Monday.

Back on Track

Do you feel that just being there and facing the reality of your struggle with others who struggle similarly was also a benefit?

I found that once I got to meet people face to face and really discuss my problem it really helped me. My sobriety since then has been more stable and I personally feel more at ease rather than whiteknuckling all the time. It also helped me have more toelles from when I would speak to guys on the phone.

You where much missed, your absence was sorely felt, it wan't the same without you, it could ahve been better if you where there, we kindly request that you would grace us with your presence next time (you can even bring a freind).

We learnt the handbook, shared personal stories, looked over יו"ד סימן קנ'ז שך אות י and found a new reason to work step 2.

I created 3 threads about this kumzits, in Brek Free, "Important" threads, and the Funnies..... and GUARD davka posted over here! You see what this means, even our valient leader has a sence of humor!

oh yeh, the "upshering", how is he cute? Did you got him to all the gedolim? Roshei yeshivos? rebbehs? mekubalim? GYE members (being sober is also a madreiga of tzidkus, a higher one)....
