we had TWO guest speakers (read: on speaker phone) one was the Belzer Spotted Slghtly-Horned Animal and the second was St. Marry Shimshon Hagibor.

What was amazing was that they both said the same words of inspiration, although quite differently. The giraffe said "I have stage fright", profound but then came along Shimshon and through his words we were able to understand the animal language. His holy words were "eiyin ro'eh v'lev shoma'as, everything is recorded" only then did we understand that Zemmy was trying to give over, that we all need to have stage freight (that's what the stage carries-stage freight)!!

Then we sang "The Forest" by Rabbi Michel Twerski of Milaukee, and "Nichsefoo" by Rabbi Mordechai Werdyger of Seagate [just so that the Milwaukee/Hornosteipler Chassidim don't lunge at me with beer bottles, I'm not ch"v comparing MBD to the Rebbe, just stating facts].

Then TZ said over a vort that his Zeidy, Reb MT shared with him just before the kumzitz, it goes something like this: The Gemara says that Rebbe Tzaddok fasted forty years before the churban, so that it shouldn't come. Asks the Tiferes Shlomo- Is the Gemara trying to prove to us that tefillah and fasting don't work? After all, the beis hamikdash was destroyed in the end?! Zugt der heiliger Tiferes Shlomo! Rebbe Tzaddok knew that the churban was inevitable! He fasted every day! SO THAT THE TEMPLE SHOULD NOT BE DESTROYED TODAY!!!!!! Indeed his tefillos WERE effective. Let us all pray that we do not destroy ourselves -the temple in our hearts- TODAY.
