That's a cause for celebration. Even your subconscious was unable to dirty you. What an awesome feeling of relief you must have had upon awakening. You were finally able to "watch from outside" and not be part of it. L'chaim to you!

Dovid824, I'm looking at your posts and wondering if I wrote them in my sleep! My education was in math, my background is in computer programming, but on the iSeries (AS400) which does not have abundant jobs at all, and have had to take lower paying jobs. Right now I am working at a temp job on a project with Excel spreadsheets. My job is about to end in December, and as it would happen, I have arranged to become a live-in for developmentally-disabled adults if I don't find something between now and when my assignment ends. My family is all spread out throughout the states, and I live near none of them.
And I have few friends, but they are "remnants" of my "gay life": if I cut every gay person off that I know, I would have no friends at all. I would just have friendly coworkers. But even as it is, those friends are all friends-by-phone.

What does KOMT mean?

A few days ago I was in a dark basement with no way out, except a door leading to a darker subbasement. I tried repeatedly to open the door, but Hashem wouldn't let me. Then I discovered a stairway that led me out of the basement back into the sunlight.

I feel that Hashem has been testing me. I'm not sure when the test started, possibly years ago. But I think I was presented with a critical test a few days ago, and passed it. As a reward, He's giving me a push in the right direction.

I'm still facing challenges, but I have a plan now, and am hopeful of succeeding.

I shall not die! But I shall live and relate the deeds of G-d.
