Hi - I am looking for a filter for an android. There is actually only one site I want to block. On my computer I use K-9 and it is totally fine for my needs. I'd love to find a filter which will allow me to continue using the browser on the phone. I looked here on GYE but it wasn't clear to me which filters are good for Android. thanks

Norton Family works with the phone's browser but it is a filter and accountability program together. VCF also works. Try the filter Gabbai or just call TAG.

There's also a filter that my brother swears by called Netspark. It's completely customizable and there's a 7 day free trial to see if you like it. There's also Qustodio which is free for one device.

The only problem that i originally had was that the email account that was on the account was my own.  It was really easy to just click 'forgot password' get it emailed to me, whereupon i could (would) change the settings to suit my feeling at the moment.    The way that i fixed this was by changing the email to someone elses email account. when i once needed to legit change the settings, i clicked 'forgot password' and he gave me the new password that was emailed to him.  it costs $45 a year, with a free trial at the beginning.

I use Qustodio, and it's great and free. I make sure someone else I'm embarrassed of will put on the password on the website as well as on the app on my phone. Give it a try!
