I once saw a good vort on this week's Parsha (Shemini). When Moshe reprimanded the children of Aharon it says: And Moshe was angry at Elazar and Isamar, and he said "Why didn't you eat the Chatas etc." The roshei teivos (first letters) of the words (10:17) "madua lo achaltem es hachatas bimkom hakodesh" are "molei ahavah". Although Moshe sounded outwardly angry in his rebuke, it was however full of love. This teaches us that even if we need to criticize our children, students etc., our inner feeling must be full of love.

Shabbat Shalom

I thought of a pshat to why the kosher animals need to chew their cud: The saying goes that we are what we eat. We are affected on a physical and spiritual way by the things we eat. So, an animal chews its cud. This could represent being given something to think about or to "chew" on. If a person just takes and chews and swallows information or concepts in life, like the animal that doesn't chew its cud, then he won't go far. But if one thinks over ideas that he's presented with, and chews on it for a long time a few times, then he'll be able to get the most out of it. We shouldn't take what we're told by people for granted and correct. We must chew on it and understand it for ourselves.

Well then you haven't tried squat!

just look on the home page over here and guidebook for filters.

just do any internet search (which it sounds like youre quite capable of) for filters jewish tag; maybe it will come up even without the "jewish."

VCF is the name of the filter that Venishmartem installs. If you explain your situation they will give you a break on the price.

Shmulke,
From where do you have internet access? Why do you even need internet access? Do you need it for your work?
Why not get rid of your access completely? If your wife needs it for work, ask her to lock her computer so you cannot even log on. Why do you need to be on the computer at all?
If you think it is embarrassing to tell your wife that you want to be extra careful so she should lock her computer, think about how it would feel to get caught.
I don't know your specific circumstance so all my suggestions might be irrelevant.
But I was caught and I wish I would have asked my wife to lock my computer and hold the lock code.

Did they give you a choice of different products? Did you get a good understanding of the product or products? And how much does it cost?

Schmulke,

I might add to the suggestions that been given by asking if you are apart of an accountability group here on GYE. The accountability groups here have been a huge helper for many of us. Similarly, have you started the 12 step method, or the 20 progressive tools? I have discovered that #s 8 and 10 of the tools have helped me incredibly.

Let us know where you are in all of this, in order that we can help you.

PM me if you need personal accountability, but I suggest trying the group as well.

Blessings
Group accountability and the TaPhSiC Method have worked wonders for me.

The greatest help I have received, though, is the strength of G-d who never fails us.

I am a Christian, but we all share in these struggles, and I appreciate the hospitality that has been given.
