I could not have become sober without going to SA and I would not have gone to SA if it wasn't for you Chesky.
The Blind Beggar is a character in Rebbe Nachman's story of the Seven Beggars.
If I view a woman as an object, I am powerless over lust, but I don't have to look.
I can guard my eyes.
I want to guard my eyes.
I do guard my eyes.
Why do I say these four lines?

And I would not have gone to SA without Zemmy, so thank him.

On second thoughts (or first) let's all thank HaShem.

Who would have believed three years ago that we would be talking like this?

But i just want to remind myself that i am (still) an addict and without help from HaShem I have NO chance of staying sober today.

And even with SA I would not be sober today without Dov.

And I probably wouldn't have gone to SA if it wasn't for you, BB.

And I love you too, a lot.

You know, a few years back (but after I started sobriety) I used to kiss my kids and tell them, "I love you so much!...but not as much as Hashem does."

I stopped doing that because I was not sure how they were really taking the message...it might have been creepy or meant to them that I saw a limit to my love, or something like that. Anyhow, the message is still the truth and I can at least say that to you and all the guys here including myself.

Today is one thousand days, which are one hundred and forty two weeks and six days of being sober.

Thank you, Hashem!

Thank you Guard, Dov, Kedusha, 1daat, Chesky, Elyah, and everyone else who was an indispensable help.

To keep up with the sobriety count, on Twitter.
