23 days on the Chart and this is my first post on my thread on this new forum.
The Blind Beggar is a character in Rebbe Nachman's story of the Seven Beggars.
If I view a woman as an object, I am powerless over lust, but I don't have to look.
I can guard my eyes.
I want to guard my eyes.
I do guard my eyes.
Why do I say these four lines?

Nice new picture, BB!

Thank you Dov with a capital D. It is very similar to my old one, they are both Kever Rashbi in Meron.

Hello,

Just joined the forum and was intrigued by your name. It brought to mind what Chazal say hat someone who guards his eyes will merit to see the shecinah.

What inspired me to put a strong filter on my computer (later to be broken through by your truly) was an eye infection I developed. My wife was driving me around to get to the doctor. While i knew the area much better than she, I could not keep my eyes open because of the sunlight. I though, "This is not what I want my Olam Haba to look like."

May we all have hatzlacha and healthy eyes.

Welcome desperate Yid.

The name "Blind Beggar" comes from the stories of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov zt"l. In the story called "The Seven Beggars" the beggar of the first day is really a tremendous tzaddik who has nothing to look at in this world of sheker and gashmius.
I hope to be able to be guard my eyes so I thought it was a better name than No-Hope נואף or Lost Lusting Loser.
We should all be zoche to guard our eyes.

Health and hatzlacha to everyone on the forum.

Carry on driving your lorries.

Keep on truckin’ baby, truckin’ my blues away.
Keep on truckin’ baby, truckin’ both night and day.
Readin’ what the elephant said to the cat : “got a feather for my hat, tight like that.”
Keep on truckin’ mama, truckin’ my blues away, ah me, trucking my blues away.
Yeah!
Keep on truckin’ mama, truckin’ both night and day,
Keep on truckin’ mama, truckin’ my blues away.
Readin’ what the elephant said to the bell, “put off your beat an’ it’ll be a natural hell.”
Keep on truckin’ mama, truckin’ my blues away, ah me, trucking my blues away.
Yeah!
Keep on truckin’ mama, truckin; my blues away,
Keep on truckin’ baby, truckin’ both night and day.
Little brown rooster told the little red hen, “I ain’t had no lovin’ since I don’t know when.”
Keep on truckin’ mama, truckin’ my blues away, ah me, trucking my blues away.
Yeah!
De-de-de-deedle-de-dum-ba-bow, ba-ba-ba-bum-bum-bow ( 2 X)
Bum-de-dum-de-dum-dum-bow, bum-de-dum-de-zow-zow-zay
Yeah!
Keep on truckin’ mama, truckin’ my blues away, ah me, trucking my blues away.
Keep on truckin’ mama, truckin’ both night and day,
Keep on truckin’ mama, truckin’ my blues away.
Come on gal lets go across town, put our dollars down, we get drunk and clown.
Keep on truckin’ mama, truckin’ my blues away, ah me, trucking my blues away.
Yeah!
[Spoken: There’s word on the Truck Patches, it’s everybody’s truckin’.]
Bum-de-dum-de-dum-dum bow, bum-de-dum-de-zow-zow-zay. Yeah!
Keep on truckin’ mama, truckin’ my blues away, ah me, trucking my blues away.
Keep on truckin’ mama, truckin’ both night and day,
Keep on truckin’ mama, just truckin’ my blues away.
Lil’ rooster chew tobbaco, hen dip snuff, said he can't shimmy but he’ll strut his stuff yeah!
Keep on truckin’...

The seforim hakedoshim bring down not to go to sleep with metal attached to your clothes otherwise Mrs. L. (whose name we never mention) comes to visit. I never go to sleep with my keys attached to by trousers except last Monday when I was not feeling well. The seforim are right. I didn't fall, boruch Hashem, but lust came out of the blue without any triggers.

91 days and I'm on the Wall of Honor for the 3rd (or 4th) time. My record is 221 days.
703 days clean according to SA's definition.
Thank you everyone in GYE for all your help over the years.
Thank You Hashem.
