ah nudder Sobriety Baby!!!!

That's a good point. I have been sober from before this baby was conceived. She must have some extra kedusha because of that.

Boruch shekivanti (or shekivanto). I also thought of that tzu-shtel (many years ago)when I heard the Rizhiner Maiseh.

For those not familiar, Mar Yenuka ((Mr. Young) and Mar Keshisha (Mr. Old) were sons of Rav Chisda. Rashi (Chulin 89b) learns that Mar Yenuka was younger and Mar Keshisha was older, as their names would seem to imply. Tosefos (Bava Basra 7b) learns that Mar Yenuka was older but since he was born when Rav Chusda was young, they called him Mar Yenuka; and Mar Keshisha was the younger one, who was born when Rav Chisda was older.

No I didn't, I asked Microsoft Word to do it... He claims it's 630. And he never lies.

Thank you, Mr. Pond.
Today it's 601 in total and my current streak is 8 days. As the email says:

Hi Blind Beggar,

Congratulations on reaching level 2!

7 days is a full week, Shleimus!

And tomorrow is 8 days. A physician specializing in neuroscience wrote me once that there is a lot of scientific evidence that doing a behavior at least eight ( 8) times changes things in the brain. For example, if someone wishes to eat a certain food, but does not initially like it, after about the 8th time they eat it, they are much more likely to want that food. So eight days of restraining from a behavior shoud also make it a bit easier!

So now it's already easier not to abuse Google.

The cool smiley 8) was not in the original email. It's what you get if you put an 8 in parentheses like this 8)

Small Victory

There is a website which I use for business which has a photo of a pretty, smiling blonde on the home page. It is not really triggering, more annoying because it does grab my sexual attention. I just discovered that I can skip the home page and bookmark the 2nd page and avoid the problem.
One small victory. Thank you, Hashem.
