Welcome on board clearandhappy, im also a bochur, discovered gye two months ago and bh im clean 65 days, stick around, post your story and you'll get tips and help from others.

Joined as a single bochur, Bh broke free (but still on watch) by using the tools on this website, therapy but mainly through getting married.

I think that's pretty typical. I think the same mindset that keeps people on the straight and narrow makes the desire irresistible when you are exposed to porn. So they tend to go together.

Many many bochurim, including those that are referred to as choshuv, struggle with this issue. I suffered terribly at your age and I was the "apple of my rebbi's eye". There was no GYE back then, no one to talk to. It was absolute gehennom. I felt like a two faced hypocrite..... BH you have who to share with and hear that lots of wonderful ehrliche people have a really challenging time with this. BH you can get better like so many others here.
