Welcome Qualityperson. I'm sorry to hear of what you went through. I also have SSA. I am way older than you and the internet wasn't around when i started having these feelings. In fact I never even saw porn of any kind until after many years of being addicted. For me it started with being attracted to real people, my friends and classmates, BH it never got physical. I didn't even understand what i was feeling at first and didnt know it had a name. Maybe for some people it starts with Internet exposure, but not for all.

But regardless of how we got here, it really doesn't matter. We can't change the past, and dwelling on it just dooms us to be stuck in it. we need to learn to make the right choices going forward.

Strongly disagree. I definitely was highly attracted to other males (friends , chavrusa, etc.) way before i knew what youtube was. In fact, i hadnt ever seen gay porn till about i was 21. I dont consider myself addicted to porn, but masturbation has been going one forever. 
 

I know many others who have SSA and I have learned that it is very subjective. What it's true for one may not be true for others and vice versa.
