Just noticed i wrote this eight months ago:

I feel like I have a whole new group of friends (with funny names) and gee in just a few days i feel such a connection. it can be because it is not a real world but i don't think that is the reason. i think that it is because a spirtual connection goes beyond the physical boundaries. Working on such a chashuve zach with all you guys is really something special.
So thanks to all of you whoever you are and wherever you are.

Having now met several of the guys in person recently (and hoping to meet some others for those times that i need chizzuk) i can really repeat that statement in an even deeper sense

Thank you. The feeling's mutual :-)

Even when you need chizzuk, you write "I" as "i". Maybe your anivus makes you such an אהוב to others which reflects back to you!

You did it with ease, and you will continue to do so.

It's called 'life.'

bhatzlocho!
(on such a long journey, what food do you take that doesnt make you tired?, do you take energy drinks along?)
when going forward gets tough, its merely a sign that you are going uphill, just give more gas
put your sobriety first; before your wife, before your kids, before your avodas HaTorah (except for the 3 that are יעבור ואל יהרג) Without sobriety you won't have any of those things!

I drink woodford. It helps more than a million energy drinks.
Oh and occasionally I supplement it with black beans.

Anyways, with the help of Hashem and fellow GYE members I made it. For now at least. Another big step for sobriety.

Just Updating. 9+ months sober.
Life has really been great. I feel in a certain way that being able to stay clean for so long has allowed me to focus on improving other areas of my life, and given me the confidence that I can continue to grow.
I don't really have too much time to follow the forums (part of my improving myself and my productivity) but I still see the emails of the threads that I am subscribed to, so that keeps me connected. It gives me the feeling that I am still surrounded by all my great GYE friends.
Also, I am in touch with several of the guys on a somewhat regular basis but the frequency changes around. (DD I will get back to you eventually )
On a recent road trip I had the tremendous zechus to meet four of the guys in person, which was a tremendous chizzuk to me, as well as making the whole GYE experience more real and having it interact with my real life (and no, spock didn't vanish into thin air) which was very positive.
I still debate in my mind whether I will let my wife in on my "little secret". It will definitely be easier to do so, after being clean for so long. I think at the end it will be very positive (We don't have to debate it here) but the opportunity really hasn't come up and I haven't figured out how to bring it up. I think for now it will be put on hold based on other things that are going on in our lives and it would be better for everybody to wait till we are able to deal with it in the proper way.

So there we go. Nice to come back and visit (if Yankel could do it, so can I) and good to see all of you around. And to all the new guys that I haven't gotten to know, welcome and I hope you are successful in your journeys.

Wow! what a nightmare.
I had a dream that I just watched porn and acted out. (And of course a post fall post on GYE was the end of the dream )
Not sure where it came from.
Did have a wet dream on Friday night. pretty strange. Don't remember a dream in particular, Just waking up as the kery came out.
