Shalom, GYE men
 I haven't ever used the forums before but I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone. Guard Your Eyes is more than the sum of its parts. It isn't simply the site and the admins and the conquerers that make GYE what it is- but may they be blessed for their incredible service; truly, every stumble and every fall of every struggling man strengthens us all for another day. HaShem has used the horrible stories of failure as strongly as the beautiful stories of victory to pull me to Himself. Thank you all so much for getting me started. Before GYE, I didn't even fight it. For years and years, since I was 11, I steeped myself in filth without batting an eye. And all the while, praying every Shabbos and sometimes praying every morning: but lifelessly. I praise HaShem that He has awakened me to my sin. He broke me down last Fall (autumn, I mean ) and I started heading to 90-days. So many failures on the way- so much to learn. And I saved every email from the GYE Admin that says something like GET BACK UP!! It's not over yet. Mashiach isn't here yet. Don't give up.And now I'm somewhere in the 40s, and I think day 50 will land right on Pesach, or on Erev Pesach. I'm so excited. This is not my own doing, but is HaShem's, and it is marvelous in my eyes. Stay strong, fellas. Much more on my mind, but my coffee break is over pajamas |
