K9 is a good solid filter that usually behaves well. There may be something else going on here. What antivirus software do you have?

From my experience, AVG, Kaspersky and Eset may not get along well with K9. McAfee and Symantec/Norton products work OK, as does Microsoft's MSE which is free!

I could not get Eset to work with K9 but Avira and Avast! are both free and work perfectly with K9. I have used K9 with Zone Alarm and Comodo free firewalls.

Don't forget GYE's filter which I posted about. It is cloud based so it should be very light.

I hope you mean a week in your new life not only 90 day journey (I personally do the 90 thing just to know where I am up to, I don't do it as a target at all). And just ask your parents how they felt when you were a week old. When I had a child the first week I was over the moon not just "awesome".

Keep up the "over the moon" work! Yitzchok
