When Zemmy writes Kinyan Sudar I think he's referring to the email Mr. Emu sent him [which I think TZ sent him, but not sure]

Rabbi Berel Wein once said (Vintage Wein p. 78) that every rabbi needs to have a handkerchief handy in case he needs to make a kinyan sudar- also he should have one in case he needs to blow his nose [this was a long time ago, you understand], preferably it should be a different one. I never understood why a rabbi would suddenly unexpectedly need to make a kinyan until I saw the following today:

When exactly did they make this kinyan that he won't hit his wife? Before the chuppa?
