I dont remember who it was who said it but
in trying to explain the difference between us and previous generations
who used to cry and scream during Elul whereas we can barely get out a whimper
previous generations were like a wilderbeast being chased by a lion, leopard etc...
the animal screams and raises a ruckus will being chased
we on the other hand are like the animal once the lion already has his jaws around its jugular
it doesnt make a sound!
i guess the same could be said about this sensitivty issue
as long as we are alive and kicking its a good sign
as opposed to being dead and having the YH's canines deep under our skin
