I have been having a lot of trouble with my home office. The combination of the privacy of a locked door and the stress of work often leads me to act out. I'm looking for ways to make my work from home situation less private to reduce the temptation. So far I have two strategies that I'm going to implement but I'm looking for advice or ideas from others.
1) I'm going to replace the doorknob on my office door with a regular knob that doesn't lock
2) I'm going to work downtown more often

I have a home office and I don't have a lock on the door just that my desk and computer are like in a closet so when I don't work I lock that closet and the room looses the office look.

It works well for me and my family. 

I don't know the setting of your home office and if this would work for you or help you, just adding my two sense.

do you have some sort of accountability set up? if not - DO IT!

Keep the door open and place the desk so the computer screen can always be seen by people walking by.
