The Russian army is much stronger than the Ukrainian army, when they started the war they thought that in a few days Ukraine would be defeated, but they didn't succeed. Even though they are delivering heavy blows to the Ukrainians, as long as they are still fighting back that shows that Russia didn't win over them. Just the opposite, that rises the Ukrainian pride!
The Yetzer Horah is a lot stronger than us, he is a angel and we are blood and flesh, and when he started the war with us he thought that in a few days the war will be over! But he didn't succeed, and even though he might be winning some battles, as long we are still fighting back that shows that he didn't win, and just the opposite that rises our pride and with Hashem's help we will win the war!

מלחמה על הבית: מה שלמדתי ממלחמת רוסיה באוקראינה
"כולם היו בטוחים שאין למלחמה זו כל סיכוי ולבטח יפלו המעטים - הן בכמות והן באיכות - ביד הרבים וזוהי רק שאלה של זמן קצר. בפועל זה לא ממש מה שמתרחש... איך ייתכן שצבא של מעצמה חוטף אבידות רבות ולא מצליח לכבוש לפי תכניתו המקורית? דומה שהתשובה לכך ממעיינות החסידות - פשוטה אך עוצמתית" • טור של אחד השלוחים עם מסר בעבודת ה' 

"אמא רוסיה ואבא פוטין" - בהחלט אבות של מעצמה אדירה החליטו לטרוף במהירות את שכנתה הקטנה בכמות ובאיכות ולהכניעה ולנצחה בימים אחדים או אף שעות אחדות.

כולם היו בטוחים שאין למלחמה זו כל סיכוי ולבטח יפלו המעטים - הן בכמות והן באיכות - ביד הרבים וזוהי רק שאלה של זמן קצר!

בפועל זה לא ממש מה שמתרחש...

לפני כמה שעות הגיע אלי בחור חמד מהקהילה.

בחור שעשה צעדי ענק לאידישקייט ומגיע קבוע לתפילות ומדי פעם גם לשיעורי תורה.

הבחור מוצאו מחרקוב ולפני שנים אחדות שירת ממש בפרונט של אזור לוגאנסק ודונייצק.

הבחור שרוב חבריו היהודים וה"להבדיל", משרתים כעת בלוחמה הקשה באוקראינה מספר לי סודות מבפנים כיצד רק היום לבד בשעות הצהריים הצליחו האוקראינים לסלק את הרוסים מחרקוב ולגרום להם לאבידות קשות ולחיסול גנרלים חשובים ביותר לצבא רוסיה.

"הנשיא שלנו - של אוקראינה הוא יהודי "דם נקי" (הכוונה שגם אמא וגם אבא יהודים) והוא "מאלאדעץ" כי השם איתו"... אומר לי בהתרגשות בלתי נסתרת לוי היקר מחרקוב.

"הם עוד יצליחו להחזיר חזרה אפילו את קרים" מפטיר לוי...

נו !

ימים יגידו!

אבל איך שלא יהיה, הכל מבינים שאוקראינה הצליחה במידה רבה להפתיע את רוסיה במידת ההרתעה שלה והעיקר בעוצמות הנשק ומשלוח ה"מנות" היוקרתיות (והאיכותיות מאירופה ומארה"ב) שהשיבה אוקראינה לרוסיה המעצמה - שכנתה.

בבוקרו הראשון של הלחימה - כאשר הלם הפלישה היה טרי מאד - שוחחתי עם אחד מידידי הקרובים - שליח ראשי מגדולי וחשובי השלוחים שבאוקראינה שכדרכו האופטימית צוחק ואומר: "זה כנראה סיפור של יום יומיים וכולנו נהפכים כאן לרוסים"...

כולם מבינים שזה לא בדיוק הלך לרוסיה כמו שהיא חשבה וכאן הפלא הגדול!

איך ייתכן שצבא של מעצמה חוטף כאלו אבידות רבות ולא ממש מצליח לכבוש לפי תכניתו?

דומה שהתשובה לכך ממעיינות החסידות פשוטה אך עצמתית!

החייל הרוסי לאו דווקא נלחם מתוך אידיאל אלא מתוך פקודה וציות להוראות השליט והרודן - "בעלה של מאמא רוסיה"...

ואילו החייל האוקראיני נלחם על הבית!!

הוא נלחם על הבית שלו! הוא נלחם על המהות שלו! הוא נלחם על תמצית חייו!

וככזה הוא נלחם כאריה עם כל העוצמות עד מיצוי הנפש!

וככזה הוא מנצל את כל האנרגיות ומבזבז את כל המוטיבציה שלו!

וככזה הוא שווה לפחות כ 10 חיילים רוסים!!!

כעת צא וחשב את הכמות והאיכות...

חשבון נפלא זה כבר עשה  למעשה הרבי הראשון האדמו"א הזקן מייסד חסידות חב"ד בספרו האלוקי תניא קדישא.

וכך אמר בלשונו הזהב בפרק כ"ו בגימטריה שם הוי: "ברם כגון דא צריך לאודעי כלל גדול כי כמו שנצחון לנצח דבר גשמי כמו שני אנשים המתאבקים זה עם זה להפיל זה את זה, הנה אם האחד הוא בעצלות וכבדות, ינוצח בקל ויפול גם אם הוא גבור יותר מחבירו, ככה ממש בנצחון היצר אי אפשר לנצחו בעצלות וכבדות הנמשכות מעצבות וטמטום הלב כאבן כי אם בזריזות הנמשכת משמחה ופתיחת הלב וטהרתו מכל נדנוד דאגה ועצב בעולם"...

שגור היה בפי קדשו (וזכיתי גם אני הק' להסתופף בצילו ולהצטופף מולו ולשמוע מפ"ק) של הרבי בשם הבעש"ט הקדוש: "כל דבר שיהודי רואה או שומע, עליו ללמוד מכך הוראה בעבודת השם".

אז אם "מכל דבר" יש ללמוד הוראה, אעכו"כ ממלחמה שמזעזעת את העולם ויש אף הרואים בה כ"גוג ומגוג" שלפני פרוץ הגאולה השלימה באופן סופי!

מי יודע, ימים יגידו.

מה שבטוח, שכדאי שנקיים כולנו את ההוראה והתובנה בבחינת "צא ולמד".

והמעשה הוא העיקר!

זריזות! שמחה ופתיחת הלב...

כך ורק כך ננצח אפילו את הגיבורים ובטח ובטח את ה"מלך זקן וכסיל" זה יצר הרע שרק חושב שהוא גיבור עלינו...

אבל כשאנחנו זריזים ושמחים - מי יכול עלינו?...

I thought of another lesson. Ukraine has released many prisoners from jail to join in the war against the Russians. In a time of war even people that might have been considered criminals can now be a hero. 

We are now in a time of war against the koach hatumah and yetzer hara! (and even the ones that fell badly are NOT criminals) 
So yes! each and every one of us can now be a great hero!
