GYE Forum - What works for you? 20 May 2021 17:47 #368747

I find it a little overwhelming to try to sort through the information on the forum, all of the posts, to see what's worth investing time into reading and digesting. I guess this is partially because information overload is a daily part of my personal and professional life.

How do *you* use the forum effectively, for yourself and to help others?

And if you have suggestions of "must read" threads or topics, much appreciated.

I found the thread, "Dov Quotes" (guardyoureyes.com/forum/4-Wall-of-Honor/124072?limit=100#124072) to be very powerful, as Gibbor, who gathered the quotes, wrote in his brief introduction to the thread:

Dov has some great posts, and it's hard to go around finding them when you need them. ... I think it makes sense to start a thread dedicated to those Dov posts which many of us find so powerful.

That being said, it could be that some people would perhaps find some of the quotes to be a little too strong for them.

Honestly, I go to the recent posts tab and skim through the updates. Sometimes I'll go to specific threads which I'm used to, it's easier to follow conversations that way. Occasionally it does get confusing, I wouldn't say it's the best way to use it, but it saves you time going back and forth between each thread.
