Unfortunately, our past has a tremendous impact on our daily behavior.
So if I make a חשבון that I had a stretch for 275 days clean and now I am at 49, that means that I still have a long way to go to meet or beat my previous stretches. Hmmm... I might get discouraged! If I make a חשבון that I already did so many bad things in my life, so what's the point of moving and working toward sobriety? Hmmm... I might get discouraged! If I think that I don't care about the past and I don't care or even think about tomorrow, but TODAY I want to make it and be clean, Hmmm... I am being ENCOURAGED! Let's all have a fantastic and CLEAN day! ONE DAY AT A TIME!!!!  #justsaying #Englishismysecondlanguage |
