I did not tell my kallah anything about this being that I didn’t go out until I was certain I got it under control and not part of my life anymore bh.  Wouldn’t be smart to talk to a date about this wouldn’t be appropriate and would get you a no right away.  However if you don’t have it under control for a certain amount of time that can be an issue also because you’re keeping a secret from her.  So you have to first for a nice period of time be clean and know that this isn’t an issue for you anymore and then you can go out and iyh hashem will make it easy for you. I think what I’m saying makes sense...

Big big mazel tov!!!
I am married for 4 years with kinderlach B"H and I never told my wife anything its a thing from the past and she does not need to know. The chofetz chaim writes many times about loshon hora that there is no heter to tell your wife, even if it means to keep a secret.
This may not be loshon hora but it might not be beneficial to tell her, it can actually cause alot of damage. I had the urge to tell my wife from the beginning but I did not and the more I got to know her I realized that thank god I didnt!!! Even if it is under control she will never understand how you can look at shmutz, for the same reason that most girls dont do it!!
Most rabbonim will tell you the same
@ chaimsimcha wishing you alot of hatzlocho on your wedding may have only sholom bayis and no bad secrets to share only good moments and memories.

I agree! Don't tell your wife if it's under control and it's a thing from the past.
Joined as a single bochur, Bh broke free (but still on watch) by using the tools on this website, therapy but mainly through getting married.
