Not sure how I feel about the new layout, but i guess I'll do my best to adjust.

had a couple of secons of realy strong urge today, but moved past, thank God. Also had a few times when I felt myself gettign a bit too edgy, so i knew i needed to get up and walk away from the computer.

For now, I am sure, and it is in the negative range. When we think a bit deeper, we realize that it is probably because we are used to the old format. WE DO NOT LIKE CHANGE. We like what we know. A bit like little kids, afraid to taste a new food that Mommy made for them. :-X

GUARD has our best interest in mind. He must researched & concluded that this new look is better. Otherwise he wouldn't give the site a face-lift.  :D

I do like some of the emoticons' new looks, though , and I do like the idea that there is a spell-checker for writing posts... SilentBattle. :-*>

OK, so I misspelled a couple of things on my last post! Anyway, most computers I've been on have a built in spell-checker, I just sometimes miss stuff.

Yeah, some of it is the newness factor, I'm sure. Some of it, though, is just clarity - there were certain details that were clearer before - like the fact that "views" and "posts" were on two different columns. minor detail, but that's the kinda thing I mean.

Also, just in general, I prefer darker, slightly more bold lettering, instead of smaller, lighter, thinner letters. Same reason. It just makes things easier to see, notice, etc.

I think the new layout is way cool, although I think we lost some emoticons in the process. Hey solent nice to see you hope all is well.

I agree with your other observations; The look is too dainty for my liking.

Is anyone experiencing a problem when visiting the wall of honor. It shows up in html form on my system.  I am running a mac.

Doing well, thanks. The new layout isn't helping with me spending more time here, but I'm dealing as best I can.

I've had passing urges recently, and I need to remember that little slips are a big danger.

Why is it that Reb Silentbattle seems to be more active in other threads then his own?
