Certain issues came together and the result caused me to think that if only I indulge in some of the forbidden stuff, I'll be comforted. Hashem helped me and I didn't do it. Later in the day I again felt this anxiety. I remembered the challenge I had earlier on and the fact I didn't act out. I sat back and a warm, deep seated comforting feeling enveloped me.

Everytime I seem to get to a dramatic milestone in my life - that could bring about much Beracha - like a new job etc. I find myself being particularly challenged to look at the shmutz.
I then wonder:Maybe its because of it being a time of anxiety.
Maybe it has to do with the idea of being zoche for the new good situation

Then again, maybe I shouldn't even wonder.
Just KOT - Just do what works for me to be sober and let G-d take over the results.
