Also in middle of long article about why internet pornography is much more addictive than standard pornography. I'm finding it very interesting. In general I am finding that the more I learn that scientifically there's something actually going on it makes the fight more down to earth instead of it just being like yaakov fighting the malach and avodas hashem... All wonderful things but they don't address the specific test that internet pornography poses to people different than standard yetzer haras.

What does everyone think about this:
I gave away 1/2 of my password, so that I cannot simply change the time settings
on my computer, and waste time when I should be doing something else, living my life.
I can't have the password, I don't trust an outside place to remotely take over my computer,
and I can't see how having a friend come over every time I really want to go on the computer
outside of the time limits I set, would actually work out practically.
So, it has to be someone willing to do it in my home.
Wife, isn't willing, supportive, understanding, or flexible. Tried that a few times, with 
shalom bayis problems and fights the result. So, my oldest son is willing to keep 1/2 of the password.
Not ideal, but can't think of a better, viable solution. Can you? What does everyone think about this?
My problem is spending too much time on the computer. And yes, eventually once in a while, 
that leads to watching porn and masturbating and wasting seed. But MY bigger problem is 
wasting time on the computer streaming "regular" videos.
I'm reaching out. Being honest and real. 

Half a password? So if you have the first 4 characters, it makes you feel like you still have a sense of control? Even though it's totally useless? Or at least thins out the guessing game when your YH REALLY has a strangle on you?

While emailing Shua, I realized that some of my nisyonos are caused by geshmak tempting videos youtube places in front of my face based on my history. With a heavy heart and not even waiting to make it a condition for the next slip/fall, I erased my youtube watching history

there's also an option of not having it track your history, so similar movies won't ever be displayed.

This should be a zechus for me as I have an interview for a security clearance today. (Shua, that is why I will not be getting back to you until later. Sorry). My interest in porn makes my employment record less than desirable. With some hishtadlus of preparing with a lawyer, may Hashem the ultimate granter of everything I want have mercy on me.
