The hands are "guarding" and "protecting" the eye, and they also symbolize support, as they support the eye...

I get the logo, I just don't think it does justice to the power and breadth of this website. Also, since the name already is Guard Your Eyes, it would be more informative if the illustration represented some other aspect of what happens here, e.g., breaking free, being helped, rising up, connecting. The current illustration (man on tightrope) is more powerful and, combined with the words "Guard Your Eyes" creates curiosity/interest and therefore has a much stronger pull. In the internet age, a logo that instantly creates interest is crucial to drawing people to a website.
