I dont go on really bad sites. Unfortunatley though, i have been looking at pritzus though on regular, everyday sites like image searches of google or facebook. does anyone have similiar issues with search engines and the like and or have good ideas on avoiding, blocking them. Its difficult to use a filter because it will just block the whole site. thanks

K9 blocks image searches as a distinct category, so for example you can use google, gmail, gchat, but as soon as you search for images or videos it blocks you. Other filters probably work similarly.

The best trick is to stay off the computer unless you're there for a specific tachlis.  Don't sit there with the mouse in your hand and nothing left to do.  Don't linger.  Finished? STAND UP! STEP AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER!

Now that you're here, mind if I ask?
Have you had this problem long?  Have you tried to stop but cannot?
Is it just the net?  What about on the street, in newspapers, mags, billboards?
What about in your head?  What about in your bed?

With a filter the google images will only block what your filtering, but the pritzus from the "not bad sites" will still come up.  I've struggeled with this in the past.  There was a time period where my K9 blocked all image searches, but it wasen't consistant.  I've concluded that the best advice is DO NOT IMAGE SEARCH.  Stay away from your curiosity.  Only use the computer for what you need and tha's it!

Had the same problem as you. Problem was I saw images on google search and bing that would constitute terrible websites. My k9 blocked me from accessing them but I was still able to see the images through the google image page. What I have done on my home computer and laptop is block google. As of a few months ago the images on google were through the google.com/images link so you were not able to just block images and video without blocking the whole google. I therefore decided to use yahoo as over there the image and video was categorized as images.yahoo.com so it is easy to make an exception in k9 to black that.

You are certainly not the only one with this problem - as you can see from the responses, most of us here have the same problem as you, to some extent or another.

We Lust. And although it's probably better if you don't go to "really bad sites," if we find ourselves having difficulty controlling ourselves from looking at women, in any context, then there's something we need to work on.

I found that K9 had certain loopholes that i had no idea how to block it. I needed those sites but couldn't stop clicking the links to go to the bad places. It was causing me terrible triggers and bringing on terrible lust going all the way enventually. We have now a great  team on GYE with filter helpers . They have blocked those places that K9 couldn't handle. In other words  they took out the bad but left in the good. Since those adjustments i have been clean BH. THANK YOU GYE
