I'd like to share an idea I heard this week in the name of R' Levi Yitzchak M'bardichev: The word 'chazon' is a lashon of nevuah. He says that on Shabbos Chazon, every person's neshama is shown' the 3rd Beis Hamikdash and all the amazing things that will be in the future. This allows every person the ability to 'tap into' and mourn what we don't currently have.
Perhaps we can apply this idea to what we all strive to do as part of the GYE community: If we can use our 'chazon' (power of sight) properly, then we can be zocheh to uplift ourselves out of whatever situation we may be in, to realize how much better things could be if we choose to live a life of kedusha, and be zocheh to the 3rd Beis Hamikdash and Moshiach bb"a.
