Yes. A Rebbe does have a sense of humor. At least this one does. But in today's society we are trained that if you look at a kid the wrong way, you could be sued, imprisoned, or hung!!!

This is a call for all my friends out there in GYE land (i think i have at least two) to daven for me. I am tackling some major issues in the next day or two, and I am scared out of my mind! usually i just avoid these things, but I cant avoid them any more. I have to take care of them, but it will cause major stress. stress usually means acting out, or at least it used to. Im turning this over to HKBH, Im doing what i have to do, and Im turning to HIM to take care of the rest. I have to find comfort and relaxation in HIS embrace, in his closeness. No more phony means of soothing myself when Im scared / nervous!

Today went alot better than I expected!
BH it could have been a real stressful situation and it ended up very calm and productive. Im sorry I cant get into details cuz it involves other family members, but suffice it to say, I am very relieved.
BTW Zem, amen to the lotto wishes!
you never know, my wife just finished 40 days at the kosel for us to get out of debt. and Both of us spent several hours there today saying all of sefer tehillim.
I finished at about 1:30 am.
ya never know...

Good Shabbos everyone! Amazing how I feel good even though the financial situation hasnt changed yet.
While I was davening at the kosel a thought came to mind. While davening my mind kept wondering if someone was secretly gonna put an envelope with $$$$ in my pocket.
Then it occurred to me that I am so missing the point. We get so focused on the bottom line and we forget about the purpose, getting closer to HKBH. Some people told my wife that they saw yeshous after saying all sefer tehillim. It just takes 2 hours.
Well it took my wife 3 hours and me 3:20. So Im thinking these people flew thru it. Is that the point? they flew thru tehillim and got the reward. is that all that matters? No. My wife and I said tehillim slowly and carefully and are still waiting for the yeshua. But I feel I got something else as well. connection with HKBH. Thats the point. What a shame that we keep getting distracted.

Saying the whole tehillim by the kosel and connecting to H' is a huge accomplishment.
