a small thing but a really big thing
(move over Neil Armstrong)

something came up and entailed my family not being home for shabbos. not a big deal. but i am a homebody and i don't like going away for shabbos. so i bellyached about it to the wife and to a friend. later i thought to myself if this is what the RBSO wants to happen then it's my job to make the best of it.
I said out loud to the RBSO "You know i don't want to go. but if You want me to go I will go and do it with a smile and make the best of it."
and that is what i plan on doing. be"h.

not a major dramatic history-making happening (i hope), but for me it is a glimmer of a better attitude.
so i am happy.
