This is not what I had in mind.  Can we get serious for a minute around here?  ...59...60!  ok, that's was good.

a gutte voch.

i looked in the GYE glossary and "serious" is just not there....

is it a combination of "sir" "I" and "us"?

thanks for stopping by my humble abode thread, sit down and take a bite, then get up and stand in line for the audition, it should only be about an hour's wait....

well well, first we have to unpack, get over the hangover jet-lag, unpack, and then schedule a meeting and compare notes, sometimes that can take a while....

one minute, after conferring with my esteemed colleagues, it seems the panel made a decision while i was sleeping, somewhere over Iceland, and they want you to be the soloist every week, on the condition that you don't inhale any more helium and don't feed the ducks...

was just speaking to a friend from GYE and he commented that he feels that he is now learning how to live life. we are in our 30's. i feel the same way. i learn so much from GYE.

to appreciate everything i have
not to confuse lust with love
it is normal to have struggles, challenge is to keep working at being better
to face up to problems rather than avoid them
to know that i CANNOT do it all alone
i need friends
and most of all i need Hashem

i am still learning and no where near finished internalizing these ideas. maybe at 95 years...

i had an epiphany:
i was driving to shul and nearly ran over a skunk

i started thinking that i am pretty much like that skunk...
things are not always black and white and things are sometimes a little stinky but i'm glad i'm alive

ZS its very interesting you say that because my exterminator once told me that if you see a skunk you should sing because it calms them and this way they won't spray.

ZS: Well, you can call them skunks if you like.
(My former secretary used to call them zebras; perhaps a bit better: more valuable and less stinky.)
This year's politically correct expression, however, apparently is "multi-racial."

And shkoiach for not running them down. There's prison time involved.

(or is that, ?)  (In other words, I AM joking.)
