LIFE ITSELF!!!

the fact thatu r alive should bring a person to utmost joy

he gives a mashal

there was a simple farmer

who saved the kings's sons life

the king rewarded the man

he had the privlage to spend one day

24 hours

in the kings vault

he can take whatevr he wanted

this man was no fool he dint waste his time

he made off like a bandit

with his newfound wealth

he invested

he became very very rich

he aquired new freinds

he built himself a palace

etc etc

evry year on the day he became wealthy

he made a party

at one of these parties

he asked the assebled

waht was the happiest day of my life??

one feind said when you moved out of your hovel into your new palce

another said when you deposited a million dollars in the bank

the 3rd said when you were invited to the kings daughtes wedding


nonononononon

the man retorted

the happiest day of my life

i was poor

i wore simple clothes

i was hungry i was tired

that waas the day i was in the kings vault

that day was an oppurtunity

NOTHING

NOTHING
bothered me

not my empty stomach

not my lack of sleep

not my simple clotheting

i knew i had a once in a lifetime chance to become rich




my freinds

THAT is rosh hashanna

we are not hungry

not tired

we are in hashems palace

we are getting life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
