Finally, the last of the troika staggers in. Weary, bloodshot eyes. AWwww. I always miss the parties. No sleep , Work till late, preparations for yom tov... I promise its not my fault. Ltakein, habib- I see you managed the decorations very well without my help. I see uri off in dream land entangled in greeen streamers. (ltakein whats with this green lately? Think everything has to match ur shirt? )
MOm, I still sense the aura of your presence in the E.N. Thank you for taking a few moments despite your busy schedule to serve as guest of honor at this party. Was there a speech I missed , too? Guard, I always wanted to hear your voice. Does it sound like an echo, like momo heard it? :D

Thank you everyone who attended my party yesterday! Great party! It put a smile and a chuckle on my face.

I was thinking last night about my commitment. I realized after the initial "good feeling" wore off that I was scared. I then understood that it's good I was scared because that meant I really mean to do it this time. No more games.

I felt as if I had jumped across the abyss.

That feeling lasted a few moments, but then I wasn't scared anymore. I realize that this time will be different because this time I have a wonderful support system. This time I am armed. My weapons are giving chizuk and getting chizuk on the forum, and attending DC's calls and the 12 step program.

With G-d's help, and the help and support from you guys, I will make it, one day at a time.

I know that if it hurts, and I'm sure it will, when I cry out someone out there will be there to hear my cry and help me.
