Got another joke today and it's not very funny but I figured I would put it in my thread cause I am working on laughing more.

After losing another tooth, young-old Timmy became more curious about the mysterious tooth fairy.

Finally putting two and two together, he came right out and asked his mother, “Mom, are you the tooth fairy?”

Assuming he was old enough to hear the truth, she replied, “Yes Timmy, I am.”

Timmy seemed to take this news quite well.

But as he headed for the door, he slowly turned back toward his mother with a curious look on his face and said, “Wait a minute mom. How do you get into the other kids’ houses?”

Day 38 part 2.

After i posted today I relaized something did happen to me today very early in the day.  As always, I thanked G-d for another great day.  I really didn't feel like writing but after sitting here reading other people post I decided I had to write.  I am not having a bad day today so it's like why write?  but inside my heart and head I did not feel right.  My attitude is one moment at a time.  If you look at it in small amounts of time it is a lot easier then saying I have to be clean for the rest of my life.  I feel if I make it by each second it grows into minutes then hours then ultimately days.  It feel like a much greater accomplishment that way.

I also want to thank all that post here and all that read this thread.  It means a lot to know people actual take the time read something about yourself.  I normally would not say something like this, but after writing now, G-d ROCKS!!!  I am in G-d's hands forever more.

No slips or falls non needed or wanted.

I WILL WIN THE BATTLES AND THE WAR- WITH G-D'S HELP!!!!!!

I like the tooth fairy joke - especially because it hits on a very deep truth...we can often realize the truth about something, and we see it, kinda...and then we let that same truth remain hidden from ourselves in other areas of our life...

This reminds me... Today, my 3.5 year old was with me and I let him check the mail box (in Israel, everyone has their mail box together in a big room - each person has their own key to their own box)... He opened the lock and it was empty. So he says, "nothing's there, let's try the next one".

Guard,

your 3.5 year old sounds a lot like mine.  That story was a lot more funny then the joke I posted.

How come you always find things in the last place you look?

Because you'd have to be pretty silly to keep on looking after you find it!

Day 39 of being clean.  I just read the entire handbook and attitude book again over the past two days.  I realized that if you read the attitude book and you don't have a positive outlook on your recover you should afterwards.  After reading it again, my "leap of faith" was the best thing I probably have done in my life, for my life.  I thanked G-d again for granting me this great day.  Internally I feel better and stronger everyday.  I am more ready now to deal with other aspects of my life no matter what.  I am not as afraid to share my inner most thoughts.  I feel more open and much closer to G-d.  I have changed my attitude to start this journey.  I am in G-d's hands.  No slips or falls, non needed or wanted.

I am closer to wife then I ever have been.  She is proud of me and we are talking about what I do on the website.  WHAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and THANKS to G-d for my wife!!!!

I WILL WIN THE BATTLES AND THE WAR- WITH G-D'S HELP!!!!!
