I want to share something with everyone here.

I had some terrible news today.  A local kid from the area I live in died of cancer today.  He was 10 years old.  I am a parent and this has hit me terribily hard today.  I am going to make sure today I talk to my kids and give them an extra hug.  i couldn't imagine going through that.

I am asking all who read my thread to make sure if you are a parent or child, make sure you give the ones around an extra minute today.  Give them the best possible gift they can get.  It is time with you.  I bet the parents of that child would give almost anything to have had him still alive.

Hug your kids, call your parents, and most important, make sure deep down your kids know you are there for them no matter what.

The big stuff happened 10 minutes from where I live in a house with parents, kids and dogs.  The little stuff needs to be remember as just that, the little stuff.

No slips or falls, non needed or wanted.

Very true. Hashem sends us reminders of how precious every minute is, but we need to tune in and see his message - or, have someone special who sees the message remind us (that would be you, Sci).

An update on yesterdays post from last night when the kids were going to bed I felt that I gave them more of me yesterday.  A lesson I have learned from anothers death.  Small things are small things.  Big moments in one's life need attention.  Please make sure if you are a parent you give your kids an extra minute or a hug or something.  I couldn't imagine my life without my kids.

No slips or falls, non needed or wanted.

MAZEL TOV!

Will you be following the trend and making some sort of celebration here in Israel for the occasion?

Wow! mazal tov!

I'm close to being there myself - can I take the opportunity of both your anniversary, and mine, to thank you for you support and encouragement?

Hello all of GYE friends.  I have been missing in action for a few months.  I started a new business and really had not had the time to drop by.  Still clean and doing well.  If anyone is curious to the web based business I have, I send me a PM and I will send you the link.

WELCOME BACK!!!!

.... Did you really think that an addict is NOT curious?      If I wouldn't have been soooo curious I might not have ended up so deep in the mud in the first place!
