This is something totally unrelated to our website but I really have no where else to write this.

MM, what are you doing?  I had people call me today I have not heard from in business in a long time.  I have a feeling you have something to do with this.  MM, miss and love you very much.

(This is a chat I had in the car a little while ago.  I wasn't only talking to G-d when I was by myself.  I swear, my friend that died, MM, has something to do with business getting better.  I could be even more nuts but I don't care, I had to write it somewhere.)

Glad to hear...I would say that it's God...and maybe god responding to all the awareness you've been having...and part of that is all the ways that MM has made you more aware of what you want to do?

It's good to think of him - one of the reasons that visiting the graves of holy people can be such a powerful experience is because we think of them, and that inspires us. We can ask ourselves what they would tell us if they were here now.

I really also started to feel like if I  help one other person a day on any subject matter, that’s a good thing.  I am not rich with money, but I am rich with love for other people.  Help those around you with something very simple.  This morning my wife and I are having a problem with one of our sons.  I listened to my wife speak about it and felt afterwards that I listened to her so intently, I helped her by being a sounding board for her/our problem.  That made me feel like I had a did a great thing.

Beautiful!

Day 68 of being clean and sober.  It’s a great day today.  I am continuing my normal routine I have created for myself.  It seems to be working for sure.  Trying to make sure everything is left up to G-d.  Sometimes I make stupid mistakes that are very human ones.  I need to guard my tongue from saying stupid or inappropriate things.  Doing that will help myself and certainly my marriage for sure.  The progress with my wife continues and I am very happy with how we are doing.  I think she would say the exact same.  Marriage will always have bumps in the road and will forever be a work in progress.

Been doing lots of thinking about how we each help each other on this website.  Every single one of us has good and bad days.  Each of us has a revelation that helps the other.  Each of us are here for each other.  What I think we lose sometimes if you read your own thread, if you have one, how much you really help others.  Yesterday I went back and read through my entire thread and realized that people have been inspired by me.  That was the best high you can get.  Knowing you have helped someone else really does make you feel great.  I read some other threads yesterday and was like wow, they have helped me so much.

Keep living life and remember to always keep it simple.  I know now I can’t keep my brain on overload.  It’s a long journey that does not need to be solved in a weeks time but worked on in G-d‘s time.  The slower you actually work on yourself the more you figure out how much you need this new life that is being created.  Everyday is an another in building a foundation that needs to stay for the rest of my life.  Thank you G-d for giving me each moment of time to change.  No slips or falls, non needed or wanted.

I WILL WIN THE BATTLES AND THE WAR- WITH G-D’S HELP!!!

Now this is what I call getting a new attitude on life! Sci, you really do inspire me and many others. But if you can inspire even just one person, then its all worth it. So youre worth it. Thanks for the update!

Marriage will...forever be a work in progress.

Very true...and that work will become more and more beautiful. But it's something that needs constant work, to make even better. If we forget that, then no matter how great things have become, there's going to be bad news.

You already know how much you've inspired me, in so many ways, and I agree - I've seen so many others learn and grow from reading your thread.  You're right - I need to look back and be happy with the fact that maybe people have been inspired by my journey, too...

Read your own thread and see how much it actually opens your own eyes to how you are really doing.  It is amazing to see.  It's worth taking the time to do it.
