B"H Shabbos was great went away to a friend of my mother-in-law and rested up wife enjoyed not having to make Shabbos for the first time in 3 months.

Mother-in-law leaving Sunday night was a good visit though....

We all have stress.

Shteeble is on top of the tallest buildin' in Tennessee right now screamin' his head off sayin': Stressin' and lustin' do not need to be related! And nobody is arguin' with him.....for good reason; he is right!

I was taught to look inward as well: What can I do about the situation? How was/is it my fault? What can I do to rectify it? Do that! And whatever I cannot do (which is usually a lot), let's pray that the One Above (continues to) take(s) care of it.

What do you want out of a seder?

I started learning b'chavrusa. Then after a while I could learn Gemora by myself. So I knocked down masechta after masechta with diligent study (Eiruvin, Pesachim, Yoma, Rosh Hashona, Sukkah, Niddah, Megillah, Bava Kamma). And I realised I was a social recluse and masturbating myself into my own little world with my gemoras. Now I'm learning b'chavrusa Niddah b'iyun, going at a snail's pace, hardly getting anything l'ma'aseh, but I love learning with the guy, we shmuze and have a good time going about it. 

Not saying this is the ultimate Derech, but it's what works for me now. Connection. And this time, books weren't my friends

I spoke to a Rabbi once, he agreed the kiyum of the chavrusa is the mild chatter, connection. I asked, then isn't that bitul Torah? He said, so make time for it, like 5 minutes before the chavrusa.

I've had chavrusas we just stop contact, never even know he exists. It's scary. We just learned for hours, days together.

Maybe it would help the other guy?
