Good morning everyone. For those of you who didn't have your coffee yet, hi.
B'H today is the sixth "one day" since I restarted my chart, and Hashem has been kind to me, so far many of the possible triggers have been hiding (or went away for the summer). That said, I though I would share another pearl of wisdom from Professor Seuss

Today you are You,
that is truer then true
There is no one alive
who is Youer than You.


(personally I believe there is al lot of depths in that poem above. No person can tell us what we can and can not do, Only we can go out there and accomplish the things that were meant for us to do, and that, is truer then true. )

Right.

Unfortunately we can also be our worst enemy by putting artificial limits on ourselves that we have no business putting.

Do we really value ourselves as much as we should?

Do we we really believe in our true potential?

Our souls are in reality a part of Hashem.

Therefore it stands to reason that our potential for achievement is also infinite.

Let's shoot for the Heavens!

Hello. I’m having a hard time writing normally without poems or stories. Officially I tell myself that it comes out clearer to myself when it’s in a story/poem form, but maybe the real reason is because there is a certain anonymity to writing indirectly. Of course, everyone here is anonymous, but once you are here for a certain amount of time, your code-name becomes your second identity, and you begin to identify with it as you do with your real name. Thus, I don’t want to write that I’ve been falling repeatedly on and off for about a week. I don’t want to be on the receiving end of everyone feeling bad for me and telling me that it’ll get better. I want to be better now! I really feel like my two year old right now. I mess up, people are willing to be sympathetic about it, and I’m still not happy. But how can I be happy when I’m caught in this murky molasses-like putrid quicksand. Today, I decided that I would begin anew and not give in to the lust. I also decided that yesterday, and last week, and last year, and for every year since I was a little kid. What’s going to be different this time? As a little ray of light, although my falls have gotten much deeper due to much stronger tests that I’ve been getting, I no longer fall for the “little” struggles that I used to bend to every day. I guess that is called progress. I never used to do the things that I’m doing these days, but then again, when I was in yeshiva I did not have these tests that I have now. All in all, I’m somewhat skeptical (I’m actually Stillgoing, not Skeptical, He’s a mod.) but also a tiny bit hopeful that progress has been made.
