Reb TZ, in real life TZ's are made from the same material as RK's
min afar ata v'el afar tashuv
both from adama and both can be adameh l'elyon
and zugging a bissele Tehillim doesn't hurt a RK either

MT says that my brilliant idea is maybe not such a brilliant idea after all*. Here's what he suggests instead. No flippant nonchalant casual lackadaisical attitude towards the internet. No sitting down without a clear objective. Even on a filtered device [May I add "especially" on a filtered device where the nonchalance is greater and I may just find myself half hour later chatting with Malki (remember her?) on Google+].

So here goes: Internet is dangerous. I use the internet responsibly, mitoch koved rosh only. And here's a neder: until next year Tov Teves If I go onto any website other than: Gmail, GYE or NLI and its affiliated databases [need that for my work]. I must write on a slip of paper the URL I visited and hang it on the fridge.

Unrelated, until next week Wednesday, every time I walk outside I will try to say the passuk "Ner l'ragli dvorecha v'ohr l'nsivasi" first.

not so simple
i used to look back all the time saying "oh no! what have i done! Hashem help me erase the past." and i never heard a response.
finally i started looking forward saying "Hashem i'm leaving the past to you and i'm forgetting all about it. help me have a good future. help me from here and on be the person You want me to be." and that's where i realized Hashem had been waiting to help me all along

your first quote is a half sentence ayin shom
if it's not clear enough there- they are both from a tipa serucha, just depends what they do with it
and legabay the second if I would practice everything your RK preaches the world would be in a different place
didn't Dovid ask that Tehillim should be nechshav like Negaim and Oholos, maybe your RK holds it wasn't niskabel

Ok, the stand-off has begun, we've reached the impasse.

God and I.

My life is, at the moment, empty, bare. Family, thousands of miles away separated by oceans. No wife or children. No yeshiva. No job. I can just laze around in bed 24/7 and no one would know to care.

I'm bitter, resentful. (maybe I'm hanging out with Boruch from Tchebin too much.)

So, God here, is telling me: All you can do now is work on recovery.

And I'm saying NO! Give my life back! Stop telling me what to do! A thousand people can mess up their lives until they're thirty five and only I'm not allowed to move on until I recover? I don't want recovery and stop pushing it in my face!

So, yeah, that's our fight. Do I let God win, or should I commit suicide just to spite him?

Well, if you can still think logically: If you let God win, you win as well. If you commit suicide (ch"v), you lose big time (and me too).

Cheer up. Your good life is still ahead of you. It may be cloudy at the moment, but that's just to bring the rain, to make things grow.

G-d loves you. He is there for you whenever you want/need Him. He is saying to you: connect with Me. He can give you the fulfillment you are looking for.

By definition recovery has to offer you a better life than you have now.

HaShem is offering you recovery. Who is pushing it into your face?

The only thing that can be pushing it in your face are your own feelings of guilt.
