I think i will refrain from posting on this thread again, it looks like the demons read my post and decided to show me what a real grumpy day looks like, i'm seriously having the grumpiest day of the year today, oh, and i erased my avatar image.

P.S. this is the second time i'm typing this message, the first got deleted accidentally, so yea its a grumpy day

Blame it on the demons. They get such a bad rap anyway. I mean honestly throwing in the towel just because you had to crow once. You’re supposed to be made of much sterner stuff

And remember...the grass truly is greener on the other side. Anybody who ever said otherwise was simply misleading us.

The precise quote is:

”Life is pain, highness. Anyone who tells you differently is selling something.”  - Westley (AKA Dread Pirate Roberts)

P.S. In the movie Westley says it to Buttercup. But in the original book by William Goldman, Fezzik’s mother says it to him when he says that he doesn’t want to learn how to become a fighter because he might get hurt.

The streets these days are awful!

woops, just bumped into another one!

see you soon.

I Can relate to this grump.

I live in a prominently non-Jewish area, where people have no issue walking around only 20% dressed (if that), and pools without privacy fences.

The summer is not fun.

Careful what you post in this thread because some people might find this to be a lot of fun.

Erev shabbas was tough for me too.

Had an important appointment, wife asked me to meet her there on time. But I got caught up in the office and left a bit too late. I was already frantic, knowing good and well that I will barely make it.

But what happened next was straight out of a comedy show. Literally EVERY SINGLE THING that could possibly go wrong, went wrong.

Starting with an ABSOLUTE SHMUCK in front of me, who generously waved a monster size tractor trailer truck ahead of him, he held up traffic so that the trailer could make a left. He waved nicely and courteously to the truck driver, and drove off the main road not long afterwards. Leaving me, stuck behind the truck, cussing darkly to myself. Why? Why

I missed every single light. Lost a lot of time. FINALLY the trailer pulls off, and I thought I was free. Nope. The car in front of me was a misery, driving below the speed limit. I was frantically eyeballing the clock, I knew my wife would not be happy with me.

At the next right, a woman in front of me was signaling left, but the last second swerved right, still with those blasted blinkers blinking left. And she was the queen who stole the show, driving like a total idiot. I kept veering side to side like a maniac to try and overtake her but was thwarted by oncoming traffic at every opportunity.

By now, I was beaten. Okay, G-d. Okay. You win. I stared ahead, totally drained.

The ending doesn’t belong here, but I have to share it. When I finally arrived 15 minutes late, my wife was standing right behind someone in the line. She mouthed to me: “You arrived JUST in the nick of time”.

You are totally right, red. The ending does not belong in The Grouchery, I knew someone would take issue! I will do better next time!

On a nastier note, your new avatar is , well….quite…..friendly. Happy. Touchy feely. Warm and fuzzy.

I love it, mwah!
