1. If a phone starts ringing on Yom Tov, what would you do?

Assumption: (and for the next 10 seconds, you would be able to see the caller ID, but afterward you would have to wait until Chol to find out who called,)

I do not think it is assur.

This was not meant to be a halachic or hashkafic discussion. Just curious what you would do.


For example, would you even get up and go to another room to check?
