I live in BP I have no one here besides my Shull and my rebbie. i am somewhat chasidish and go a Shtrimel.
My landlord came up to me this week and told me he needs the house i was pretty happy in the house and did not pay alot for rent.
looking to move but i cant afford the rent they are asking these days $2400 so i am thinking of moving out of NYC, but it has to be driving distance from NYC since my wife has a great job here and is not interested in traveling a lot.
I am thinking of Staten island any body know something.

Please any advice wold be appreciated.

Staten Island is part of nyc... Although housing is probably cheaper there than brooklyn.
