A lot of my friends never heard of GYE...

Is there anything you can do to fix that?

(I heard about GYE when I started receiving fundraising emails. I think it must be that a friend did that thing where you give all your contacts to GYe so they can raise money and at the same time let them know that this exists. Thank you to that friend, whoever he is.)

Ya I’ve told them, but it’s a gray area sometimes, like if a guy struggles with masterbating in Yeshiva and doesn’t have internet access, I don’t see how GYE can help.

I think GYE needs to advertise and send speakers into modern orthodox schools, give lectures to parents and rebbeium etc.

Same for more Yeshivish places, but I can’t see that happening in any mainstream Bais Medrash... (Though maybe in mesivtas)

But even in the Yeshivish places, there could be flyers around the Yeshivas before bein hazmanim or somethin, idk, but I know that as much as GYE is doing good, it’s unfortunately missing THOUSANDS of buchrim in Yeshivas.

Im not criticizing or saying what rabbonim should do.
But Rebbium and Roshei Yeshiva in America need to know that many many of their talmidim are suffering in silence.

I saw a sign hanging in shul and thought it was just a hotline and a daily chizuk email for shmiras einayim. I figured why not? Then I clicked on a link and VOILA!

Read about it in Rabbi Twerski's book, Teshuvah Through Recovery. I had been reading a lot of his books on self esteem when I stumbled upon this one. It's about the 12 Steps and how they fit together with the process of teshuvah. It's a great book and at the end he writes a few chapters about Guard Your Eyes.

There are many ways that GYE can be spread anonymously to all email contacts you have. Maybe a GYE expert or moderator can share some of these ways and some links here so we can all do our share to help others (especially those we know!) find out about it.

I do sometimes wonder  is GYE made for everyone, i mean someone who isn't exposed to the internet dark side and just struggles with masturbation, then isn't gye way to open for him? won't it make him curious to just quickly surf the internet in a not good way? or do 90% of Bochrim today know what p... is? I mean it's not comfortable for me when mentioning gye to anyone cos y am i there! or am i wrong. But thank G-D i found them!

Oh i Must mention that the final boost I got that made me sign up, was that I by the way saw a friend on his email, and saw he  got the daily boosts, so i decided if he can do it then i can too, what a zechus he has. none the less i'd still be uncomfortable telling him. so just bear in mind IT MAY BE YOU!

Ad on Yeshiva World I believe 

I saw the ad countless times on YWN and thought about it many times. It was the Halacha Headlines show that really got me here. The ads were noticed (hard to miss some of those annoying pop-ups). However, the statistics and numbers shared on Halacha Headlines of just how many people are impacted by this was a real eye opener that I was not the one in a million lost soul doomed to HELL. But even that did not begin to prepare for me for the unbelievable benefit of being  able to put my experience into words and share with others who could fully emphasize and understand what I was going through. The Flight to Freedom and all of the other tools and materials are absolutely priceless but it is the forums that has brought a light to a room that has been dark for sooooooo many years.  I would like to strongly suggest that you speak with Dovid Lichtenstein about doing some form of follow-up to help more people understand the ability that GYE has to start the process of removing the yiyush. 

I somehow heard about it quite a few years ago, maybe by chance when I was looking for internet filters on venishmartem.com. Don't remember exactly. I did use it for a bit (with a different username that I don't remember) but at the time my struggles were minor compared to today.
I kept on seeing ads online definitely on VINNews but maybe elsewhere as well. And the latest reminder of the site that actually led me to get involved just when I needed it most was when my wife casually played the headlines podcast that spoke about this site.
