That's kind of my goal, but I have to be rather selective in what I post. Some of these are quite graphic and I don't want to trip anybody up.

What has this world come to???????????????????/
I ask myself that every day. It's not only about what I've been posting. The whole world has gone crazy, our leaders are weak, and everything is just plain backwards. I have a friend whose father doesn't even read the newspaper anymore because it's too depressing.
I mean, when some Jihadi guy shoots up an army base and then the very next day you see stories about the "muslim community" fearing a "backlash", thus portraying the muslims as the
victims instead of the perpetrators, something is seriously wrong. All you have to do is look at the statistics (
www.fbi.gov/ucr/hc2008/victims.html and scroll down to "religious bias") to see that those assertions are complete and utter BS. I even saw one article, I don't remember where, that showed that, while there have been hate crimes against Muslims in the U.S., not one has ever been motivated by direct retaliation for some Jihadist activity. Not even 9/11, but the media wants you to think otherwise. You have to understand that most people are idiots. That is a Law of the Universe, and they have been conditioned to believe whatever they see on TV or read in the papers, etc.
When people--especially our leaders--would rather appease the Gods of Political Correctness than call a spade a spade, which gets innocent people killed, something is wrong with the world.
Sometimes I wish I was alive in my grandparents' generation. They didn't take any crap from anybody and they weren't afraid to do what was necessary to protect and improve our country, even if it meant "stepping on someone's toes" a bit. Now everyone walks on eggshells for fear of angering the PC gods and nothing productive actually gets done, while the guilty are protected under the wings of the Guardian Angels of Political Correctness.
The great Winston Churchill sums it up better than I ever could:
"You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life."
And
"An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last. "
