Are there any computer geeks out there who can help me?
I am the admin on this computer and because of that; it is easy for me to get around the K9 filter even though the password is not by me. I tried opening a new user account but it just keeps on telling that the service failed. Is there anything I can do?

Not sure if this relevant anymore. But you should contact the filter division.
You can try having the person that setup K9 stop theservice and uninstall it. Then set up the child account on windows and later reinstall and set up K9. I would advise adding Windows Family Safety too for email notifications of attempted bypasses. Feel free to contact me for more specific info.
Hatzlucha Rabba on your recovery and the most important thing isn't the external filters, but the internal change!
