Official OINK Update

Another smash success!! Some of our chevra were away (lizhensk [eating swiss chocolate] and avrom [getting his shreiyim]) but we still BH had 5 Pinchases. It's been a tough week for the whole crowd, literally all of us. Nobody needed any convincing of being powerless. But don't think that got us down, we came together to be honest, to make sure we know we are in check with reality, with ourselves.

The conversation was about second step, finding the greater power, and realizing that hashem is waiting for us to let him in, on his terms. Ben Durdaya had a few good lines, just can't remember them now.

as usual we are asking the other members of OINK to fill in anything they can.

Is tuesday night (rosh chodesh Elul) ok for the oilam?

so once again the oink bochurim section got together for a get together
this time it was a shabbaton. HS and TZ met up together and after spending a brazzilian hours thinking about where to go we decided on grand rabbi ploni. and at 1st they didnt let tz in cus he was wearing a chabad hat so he pulled up his black socks over his pants to look more normal and they let us in.
the worst part of the whole thing was that there were no black jellybeans.
we then sang some beutifull songs of the hassidic masters and were mesmerized by the holiness. there was one song we sang that tz said...WHAT THE GEHINNOM!
we then sang ka ribbon oilom frustratingly slow...one could have a fall just from the frustration of how slow it was....prooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooook yuuuuuusssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss unuchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

we then almost passed out on the tables
we also continued our shabbaton the next morning the only eventfull thing is that in the permitted food section of the weekly torah readings TZ pointed out in a rashi that some say that

Not only that but it's a myth that the reason we don't eat giraffes is because we don't know where to shecht them.Anywhere on the top third of the neck is fine.
The reason we don't eat them is because they're not available and therefore very expensive, however if there is one around then don't hesitate to eat it because you might never get a chance to do it again.
